A Podcast to Bridge the Gap

Welcome to the start of something new and much-needed in the wellness world.

I’m excited to share my intentions behind this podcast and why I believe it can make a meaningful difference in how we approach health and wellness.

Addressing the Wellness Gap

The wellness space has become increasingly polarized. On one end, you’ve got the hardcore science advocates who dismiss anything without data regardless of how many people share a lived experience and on the other, there’s the holistic crowd, embracing traditional practices and often skeptical or hesitant to use or promote anything from the new world like modern medicine.

The truth? Most of us fall somewhere in between. Yet, the extremes dominate the conversation.

They get the views, the likes, the shares — but they’re often not realistic or sustainable for the average person.

These polarizing approaches can set us up for stress, failure, and confusion. That’s not what I’m here for. This podcast is about living in the grey — a balanced space where science meets tradition, and practicality reigns.

A Blend of Science and Tradition

I’ve been a holistic nutritionist since 2011, following a personal health journey that taught me the value of looking at health from multiple angles. In 2017, I began mentoring under Dr. Ehud Ur, which opened my eyes to the realities of the public healthcare system and challenged my biases.

Before that, I worked mainly with clients who had resources — people who could afford tailored wellness plans. But mentoring under Dr. Ur introduced me to a different world. I saw firsthand the challenges faced by those in the public system, and it made me realize how out of touch many wellness recommendations are with real-life constraints.

When I listen to wellness podcasts today, I often hear a version of myself from a decade ago. There’s a lack of understanding about what is truly realistic and sustainable for most people. That’s where this podcast comes in: it’s about practicality, meeting you where you are, and empowering you to make informed decisions for yourself and your family.

The Irony of Wellness Stress

One of the biggest issues in wellness today is the stress of trying to be well. It’s ironic, isn’t it? The pursuit of health often leaves us overwhelmed and anxious. My goal is to cut through the noise and give you tools that reduce stress, not add to it.

Honest Conversations

This podcast will also tackle the bashing that happens on both ends of the spectrum. Doctors and scientists often criticize traditional healing for lacking data, while the holistic community accuses science of being biased or driven by profit. Here’s the thing: both can be true, and both can be false. That’s why it’s essential to hear both sides and understand what they bring to the table.
